BACKGROUND:
Jeremy has been training and involved in martial arts for 27 years. He first started at the age of 5 years old at a local Judo club that his dad was helping to coach. He studied Judo for nearly twelve years and competed at both County and National level where he represented this country twice, and then went on to become an assistant coach at the club which once coached him.

From the age of 16 – 18 years Jeremy studied Wing Chung Kung Fu

At the age of 18 Jeremy found kickboxing and a modern form of ju-jitsu and began to study them simultaneously , the kickboxing was semi-contact points fighting and never really favoured Jeremy. Whilst competing in a kick- Jitsu tournament Jeremy saw a full contact kickboxing bout being held in a ring and quickly realised his calling, whilst most discouraged him, Jeremy stood firm and made the transition and to this day maintains that it was the best decision he ever made.

After competing truly at the highest level and training both at home and abroad Jeremy sought a new challenge, after watching a video someone had lent him Jeremy was hooked, a new hybrid form of fighting had evolved this was the UFC.

There were only two promoters in the country at this time staging anything like this type of fighting, Jeremy competed regularly on both their shows before jumping on board a much newer smaller show who most laughed at….. which went on to become Cage Rage, arguably the best MMA show in Europe!

Jeremy is currently in talks to appear on Bodog fighting in Vancouver and Costa Rico.
